St Bernadette’s Primary School

Connected, flexible and accessible spaces which support community and learning diversity

St Bernadette’s Primary School

Project Overview

This project combines new and refurbished works, including a learning and discovery centre, entrance and reception, amenities, community kitchen, external decks, five learning environments and specialist spaces for art and music.

The design supports connected and flexible learning, with large glazed sliding doors allowing classrooms to open to each other and to a central discovery space—supporting visibility, adaptability and a range of learning modes.

All learning areas have direct access to external decks, extending teaching and learning into outdoor environments and supporting day-to-day use beyond the classroom.

ROAM worked closely with the school to develop the masterplan and subsequent design, supporting a successful capital grant application and ensuring alignment between educational vision, funding requirements and project delivery.
