St Augustine’s Primary School is a well-established community school set on a steeply sloping site overlooking the Taylor’s Creek Valley. The project involves the renovation and extension of existing buildings to upgrade learning environments and improve accessibility across the campus. Works includes refurbishment of classrooms, new external learning areas, targeted upgrades to circulation and amenities and an infill extension at the centre of the school that serves as a multi-purpose communal space overlooking Taylor’s Creek Valley.

The project delivered refurbished classrooms, a new flexible learning space and external learning decks that extend teaching into outdoor environments. Large sliding doors replace existing solid walls, allowing spaces to open and connect, supporting a range of learning modes. Accessibility upgrades include a new lift, improved circulation and new unisex amenities, creating a more inclusive and functional environment for students and staff.
